FERRY:
There are 2 weekly ferries to Thessaloniki (12 hours), Naxos (4:15 hours), Iraklio, Crete, (10:15 hours) and Amorgos (2:15 hours), 4 weekly to Ikaria, via Mykonos (3:30 hours) and a weekly service to Skiathos (7:15 hours).
BUS;
There are busses from Hora, the capital of Tinos, which go frequently to Porto, Kionia, Panormos, via Pyrgos, and Kambos.
CAR & MOTORCYCLE;
There are many rental companies, especially in Hora.

  
 



OUTSIDE HORA:
The 3 km northwest of Hora, there is the Sanctuary of Poseidonas and Amphitrite, a 4th century BC archaeological site. The shortest route to the place is from the village Xinara.
The ruins of the Venetian fortress of Exobourgo, a 640m high rocky hill, are situated north of Hora.
The Museum of Giannoulis Halepas, in Pyrgos, is dedicated to the Greek sculptor Halepas.
There are Folklore Museums in Loutra, Falatados, Votrax villages and in Agia Triada Monastery.


  
 


The Village Kionia, 3 km northwest of Hora, has several small beaches.
At Porto, 6 km east of Hora, there is a quiet beach that faces Mykonos and, just 1 km further, there is the lovely Pacheia Ammos Beach.
12 km north of Hora, on the north coast, there is Kolymbythra Bay, with 2 sand beaches.
Panormos Beach, 28 km northwest of Hora, is small and non-crowded.
